The Circus

Our name, Circus Media, is derived from the well known phrase, 'Media Circus', we just, quite obviously, changed it around. So why Circus Media? Well, simply because, if you think of the internet and the many web designers, the many places and websites you can buy web services and periferals available for your online applications as the Media, and because there's so many, it's like a Circus. Hence Circus Media.

If Internet supplies and building websites is such a 'Circus' and the amount of this 'Media' is available at any and every turn, then why do we do what we do? Simple. Although we basically do similar things that every other web designer does, we offer a different type of service and a unique array of products that are not neccessarliy available from every web designer.

The difference is in the design

When we first started to build websites, there were a few different aspects that we wanted to adhere to rather than follow the crowd and produce something complex, difficult to navigate and with too much information crammed into every page.

The first site we ever created was exactly this, but maybe a little too brightly coloured and far too sparce. It actually looked like someone had drawn it and scanned it in and published it. Everyone has to start somehwere.

These days, we have created sites that are inspired by the simplicity and ease of use of Google, simple, yet elegant. We strive to design websites that are easy to use and don't take a college degree or an amount of guesswork to use them. We have the ability to create mostly anything that you require, from a simple personal site with just a few pages, to a full e-commerce site, utilizing the best of today's technology.

A summary of the services we provide

Domain Name Registration	We ask you to choose at least 5 different domain names that best suit your business. Just in case your first choice is already taken. We do all the administration work for you, so you don't have to.

Hosting	Once your site is designed, you need to post it on the internet. We offer both Linux and Windows hosting plans at very competitive rates.

Maintainence	It is very important that your website is kept current. We offer a range of affordable ways to keep your website looking fresh and well tended. These include Monthly Updating Packages, or Pay-as-you-go. Each have their own advantages, but depend on how regularly you need your site updating.

Website Content	Nobody knows your business like you do. Therefore, we ask you to submit all the text for each of your pages in either an Email, or in an MS Word document. Images are an integral part of the design of any good website, so we ask you to provide all images. They should not break Copyright Laws.

Our Safeguard	We safeguard you and ourselves by agreeing everything beforehand. We write it into a contract which is signed by both you and one of our representatives. This makes certain that we both know what is expected during the process.
